A BILL to amend article six, chapter twenty-nine of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section
twenty-eight, relating to the state division of personnel
reinstating the equity pay increases into their pay plan.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article six, chapter twenty-nine of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be
amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section
twenty-eight, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 6. CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION.
§29-6-28. Equity pay increase reinstated.
The director of the state division of personnel shall reinstate the equity pay increases into their pay plan beginning
the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to require the State
Division of Personnel to reinstate equity pay increases into
their pay plan.
